Ronaldo hints Messi for Golden Ball award

Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo believes that Barcelona play better football than his Real,and Lionel Messi may follow him as the best player in Europe by winning the Golden Ball award.Cristiano Ronaldo stated in an interview for France Football magazine that Barcelona players have the best probabilities to win the esteemed trophy this year.

"Messi is the favorite," Ronaldo said. "Why not him? If he wins it, it will be well deserved."

Six players from Champions League and the Spanish league winners Barcelona are in the competition for the Golden Ball award, the list of candidates was published last week and included Messi, Xavi Hernandez, Thierry Henry, Andres Iniesta, Yaya Toure and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
