Celine Dion appeared on Sunday night's Daytime Emmy Awards telecast from the Las Vegas Hilton to pay tribute to Oprah's departure from the tele. Celine, who has appeared on Oprah more times than any other singer, sang her 1995 No. 1 Grammy-winning, Oscar-nominated "Because You Loved Me," which she said is one of O's faves, pre-taped the previous night during her Casear's Palace show in Vegas.
For some innane reason, Oprah was not present at the awards ceremony. Lame, that is. Celine's beautiful performance, however, was anything but...
Meanwhile, some unpleasant news: Celine's special on Oprah's OWN network, "3 Boys And A Show" has been postponed from its June 26 debut. No explanation yet.
