Forthcoming Movies of Deepal Shaw

Some interesting news on the forthcoming releases featuring Deepal Shaw...

WEDNESDAY

Actress Deepal Shaw is all set to play the lead in Anjum Rizvi Film Co. & Friday Filmworks joint venture titled ' WEDNESDAY'. She has previously shown her splendid acting skills in Mahesh Bhatt's Kalyug and now will share the screen with greats like Anupam Kher, Naseeruddin Shah, Jimmy Shergill and actor Aamir Bashir. The film is written and directed by Neeraj Pandey and produced by Anjum Rizvi with Shital Bhatia coming in as the Co – Producer.

Tumse

Bollywood has seen many actors performing triple roles, for instance, Dilip Kumar in Bairaag and Amitabh Bachchan in Mahaan. But there has probably been no leading lady who has tried her hand at a filmi Hattrick! Now, Deepal Shaw is at the brink of being the first Bollywood actress to perform a triple-role in a film.
Deepal Shaw, whose claim to fame is the sensuous Baby Doll music video, has assumed the challenge of playing three distinct characters in director Navneet Baj Saini's film. The film also stars Irrfan Khan, Lucky Ali, Ranvir Shorey and Nausheen Ali Sardar. Although the project is 70% complete, it is still untitled. Saini had earlier titled the film Tumsey, but since it did not exactly suit the subject of the story, the title had to be dropped. Later on, another title was decided upon, however, it was booked by another producer. The movie is said to be a modern, practical love story, which has been shot in Bangkok. The three roles are indeed going to be challenging for Deepal, as this is only her second film in Bollywood.

Deepal Shaw was first seen with debutante Kunal Khemu and Emraan Hashmi in Mahesh Bhatt’s Kalyug. Let us wait and watch if the Baby Doll can pull off a triple act!

Karma, Confessions & Holi

Directed by Manish Gupta, this is an Indo-American venture produced jointly by Saregama Films and Rapture Productions Inc., a New York-based company owned by Drena De Niro, daughter of Robert De Niro, and David Roma. Cast is quite interesting featuring a mix-n-match of Hollywood and Bollywood stars including Sushmita Sen, Randeep Hooda, Suresh Oberoi, Rati Agnihotri, Suchitra Krishhnamoorthy, Deepal Shaw, Drena De Niro, super model-actress Naomi Campbell, Sticky Fingas, Christopher Walken and Debbie Mazor.

To quote IMDB, "The film is based on the inner conflicts of relationships, which hitherto never spoken earlier, but in a festive atmosphere of Holi, each one loses the inhibitions..."

The tagline says it all "...its about relationships... It could be yours!"

Deepal Shaw

Let me start this blog with my personal favourite, DEEPAL SHAW, more coomonly known as Baby Doll... i really like this beauty dance...

She began her career as a model, taking part in the 2004 Miss India beauty pageant, advancing to the final round before being cut.[2] After this setback, she rededicated herself to striving for success in the Indian entertainment industry, beginning a career as a singer.

She released her first album (entitled Baby Doll, after her adopted stage name) in 2004. She followed up her strong debut with Baby Doll Chapter 2, featuring many hit remixes such as "Kabhi Aar Kabhi Paar" and "Rangeela Re." Her music consists mainly of modernized remixes of old Hindi songs, entailing a very bass-heavy sound with some hip hop elements. She made her acting debut in Mahesh Bhatt's controversial Kalyug, opposite Emraan Hashmi and fellow-newcomer Kunal Khemu. Portraying a porn star, Shaw's first role was generally appreciated by critics.

In next few posts i will post her videos available on the youtube or other places... enjoy & keep posting your comments...

When I was away from Kuching, I caught this on a local newspaper while I was 'enjoying' the delay of my flight. (I was stranded in the airport for about 5-6 hours)

I was in Bintulu Airport that time.
Look at the details of the newspaper report. Allow me to highlight the sentence here:
At about 7pm on Sunday morning, Maung was walking under the a
crane
, which suddenly broke and felling on him.

If you're in educational line, will you now still be encouraging your students to read more English papers to improve their writings? I suggest not, which may as well save yourself more headache when marking their essays.
Again, sorry for the orientation of the photographs in this post. I'm still away from Kuching at the moment. I'm typing this post in my hotel room. I'm enjoying wi-fi Internet access at level 11 in the hotel now.
I'm in the land of kampua.

hello from bintulu

" Short Update: Pardon me if the picture orientation isn't nicely done, cos there seems to have some problem with the browser here. Will clean it up when I'm back home. "

A short update from Bintulu.

I'm on yet another work-related trip to Bintulu. I'm really glad that my work is finished way earlier than usual. Else, I wouldn't even have time to enjoy the free wi-fi here in the hotel.

I'm currently sitting at the Luconia Bay at ParkCity Everly Hotel, Bintulu. I find this hotel a splendid place to stay, be it for leisure or for business trip.

It's a four-star hotel, located by just the seaside of Bintulu. There is construction project for the raise of their WaterFront project going on, so you can see some dirty work being done. Nevertheless, after the construction, I can visualized the beauty of the sunset you have at your window in your room.

That's all for now.

busy

Seriously, i need a break. I'll be away for the whole of next week. 26/04/07 is declared as public holiday in Malaysia, but I still have to work.

Sigh. I wonder when I can get my break.

bridal fair @ old court house, kuching (part 4)

" Short Note: I'll be flying off to Sibu, then to Sarikei, on Monday (16/04/2007), and shall return on Tuesday (17/04/2007). A week later, I'll be in Bintulu again. "

Before I fly off again. I'll upload a quickie on the bridal fair. It takes a long time for me to finish up my cover on the event, probably cos of the numbers of shot I had.

I'll be flying off for work-related trip again on Monday, returning on Tuesday. This time, I'm off to Sarikei.

Without much ado, here are the male models after much of the female only.. with their wedding gown. For a change, you have men suit up.

The men making their entry to the stage.

The man in black at center stage.

Gents making their presence felt.

Doing their rounds.

Something is coming next, what is it?

Stay tuned. It won't be long before I conclude this event. It takes ages. I hope you're not bored with the presentation here. Will be back to conclusion after my trip to Sarikei.

Apollo Missions

This video collection was setup to honor the Apollo Missions, which were a series of human spaceflight missions undertaken by NASA using the Apollo spacecraft and Saturn launch vehicle. The missions were conducted during the years 1961 – 1974 with the primary goal of landing on the Moon. This goal was achieved with the Apollo 11 mission in July 1969.

The Lunar Rover Videos are especially interesting.

bridal fair @ old court house, kuching (part 2)

Taking off where I left behind before I left for the work-related traveling last time round. I was required to be at the Oil City, and the Industrial Energy Town, literally Miri and Bintulu.

2nd day of Bridal Fair paraded wider range of wedding gowns. I wasn't there when the fashion show kicked off, thanks to the rainy weather that night.

I hope I didn't miss much.

Well, at least I knew I missed some, but I didn't miss this - The Curse of Golden Flowers Series!!!

The Curse of Golden Flowers series. (minus the cleavages bearing cutting.)
