announcement
I have signed up a deviantART account, as well as flickr account for myself. I shall share most of my work there from now onwards, rather than clogging up bandwidth in blogspot.
Click here for my deviantART, and here for my flickr.
Be sure bookmark it and visit as you please. Enjoy!
" End note: I have not got much time to decorate both accounts, nor I have uploaded much photographs there, as I am preparing to fly back to Kuching. I'm leaving on a jet plane in 2 days' time. "

i'm unemployed now, please hire me
I'm now officially unemployed, as I had parted company with my employer last Friday.
I have a week of 'holiday' before returning to homeland. And that means I shall have quite some time to tour around K.L. a little bit. I have visited Aquaria a couple weeks back, so that's one place off already. I took quite some shots over there, but they're not quite ready just yet. Hopefully, they can be uploaded before I depart.
Here are the revised wish list on places to visit/things to do before departing:
Aquaria- KL Tower
- National Zoo
- Genting Highland
- To walk through the heritage trails in Kuala Lumpur
Let's just see how things go next week. I'm ONE week away from home.
Photo of the Day:
" Photo note: One way - as I am making a one way journey to Borneo. This photo is irrelative to the content of this post. I just thought of putting some images so that it won't look that dull. "
" End note: There hasn't been any interview calls from Kuching since the past month. Now, companies in Kuching, would you please hire me? I am a Kuching lad, now returning to homeland. I ain't based in KL anymore.. "

in case you don't know
I have decided to leave Kuala Lumpur, to head back to my homeland - Kuching, Sarawak. Yes, I have already resigned from my employment.
My last working day is set to be on 24th September 2006. Since it is a Sunday by then, I will serve my last day of service on the 22nd September, the Friday before weekend.
On my flight back to Kuching, I have yet to purchase the ticket. Tentatively, my targetting date will be around 2-3 October 2006.
Updates will be posted on this column, this blog.
Till then, I'm off for now.

title="Woodside 911 Memorial" alt="Woodside 911 Memorial" width=400>
It changed everything for people who care.
A few minutes ago the first part of the path to 9/11 ended. My neighborhood 9/11 memorial was dedicated yesterday. (The abbreviations: FF fire fighter, BC batallion chief, FM fire marshall)(click on image for full size.)
On September 11, 2001, the following who lived or worked in Woodside died in the World Trade Center attack. Their lives touched our hearts. Their sacrifice change our lives forever.
Fill not your hearts with pain and sorrow but remember me in every tomorrow.
God Bless America
This is located in Doughboy Park in Woodside. Doughboy refers to the first wave of American soliders who fought in World War I in Europe.
long overdue (I): jogoya review
In early June, I visited this Japanese Buffet restaurant. It was one of the best I have ever been to so far.
Jogoya is a Japanese Buffet Restaurant hailed from Taiwan. It offers a wide range of food varieties. Not only you can find Japanese food, i.e. Sushi, Shashime, you can also try on Western cuisine, Chinese cuisine, and also Middle-Eastern.
It was a whole new dining experience in Jogoya for me at least. The ambient there was great, and the food was superb. They have such a wide range of varieties, and it will take you forever to even try every single type. You will need a whale's stomach to cater the food variety availabl!
According to source, Jogoya can cater about 580 patrons. I cannot find much information on Jogoya over the Internet. So, I couldn't write up too much on it.
There are 4 operation hours for Jogoya. If you're interested, you can have the following:
Brunch (RM 78++)
11:30a.m. - 1:40p.m.
11:30a.m. - 2:00p.m.
Hi-Tea (RM 68++)
1:40p.m. - 4:20p.m.
2:00p.m. - 2:00p.m.
Dinner (RM88++)
5:00p.m. - 9:30p.m.
Supper (RM78++)
9:30p.m. - 12:00p.m.
9:40a.m. - 12:00.m.
Credit Card accepted for payment. Also, you are required to place reservation beforehand if you plan to dine in Jogoya.
Here are some of the photos on the food available:
Ittadakimasu.
The iron clips in the pic (above) are for you to place order in some of the dishes which required to be cooked or heated. The staff will do the heating for you, and will have the food delivered to your table as soon as the food is ready.
Sorry about the lack of write up, but I really can't find much time to do it.
While dining in Jogoya, green tea (ocha) or any hot tea is highly recommended choice for your drink. It'll do your appetite good. ;-)
Cheers for another round!
